The Veil
The Veil is a night stand that filters the light through its layers to produce a gentle and beautiful flow of light in the space. It’s form is derived from a curve subdivision algorithm. From the bottom to the top it grows more wripples. The wripples act as filters and each reduces a little bit of the light value. The result is a soft gradient of light with more light shining on the lower part which is more suitable for the dark environments. It is 3d printed out of translucent material.
